Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Tomo Interactive Ltd, the operator of the Measy app. By using Measy you agree to them — if you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Measy does

Measy builds a personalised weekly meal plan and shopping list from the preferences you give us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own household. You may not resell the app or its content, copy it, or use it to build a competing service.

Subscriptions and billing

• Measy offers an annual subscription at £29.99/year, which includes a 3-day free trial, and a monthly subscription at £6.99/month with no trial.
• We may occasionally offer promotional pricing, such as a discounted first year. Unless the offer says otherwise, discounted subscriptions renew at the standard price shown at purchase.
• All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trials convert automatically into a paid subscription when the trial ends. It is your responsibility to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you do not wish to be charged — the trial length and the price you will be charged are both shown clearly before you start. A charge that results from not cancelling in time is a valid charge, not a billing error.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you will not be charged. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
• All payments, including annual subscriptions, are non-refundable except where required by law. Refund requests are handled solely by Apple under App Store rules, and any refund is at Apple’s discretion. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
• If you ask Apple for a refund, you agree that we may share information about your use of Measy with Apple, such as how long you have been subscribed and how much you have used the app, so Apple can decide the request. We share only what Apple asks for, and only for that purpose.
• Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by country.

Your account

You can use Measy without an account. Signing in with Apple lets your answers and plan sync across devices. You are responsible for the security of your device and Apple ID. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time in Settings → Account → “Delete account & data”. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription — manage that in your App Store settings.

Food, allergies and prices

• Meal suggestions, ingredients and nutritional figures are general guidance only, not medical or dietetic advice.
• Always check product labels for allergens and ingredients before buying or eating anything — dislikes you set in the app are preferences, not a safety filter.
• Cost estimates are approximate and depend on the shop, brand and current prices; your actual spend may differ. Savings figures shown in the app are estimates, not promises.

Our content

The app, its design, recipes, text and imagery belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Supermarket names are used only to identify where you shop; all trade marks belong to their owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

App Store

Measy is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content.

Liability

Measy is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending or changing the service

We may update, change or discontinue features of Measy, and may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
